Projectorquest.com Lamp Warranty

Projection lamps sold on this site include a free 90-day or 180-day warranty from date of sale, unless otherwise specified. Projectorquest.com offers a warranty for purchase that extends the lamp's warranty 90 additional days or up to 700 hours of total usage, whichever comes first. This policy does not cover failure due to misuse or acts of God. Projectorquest.com warrants that the products sold on this site are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the term of the Product Warranty selected at the time of purchase. The selected Product Warranty term commences on the day the item is purchased and ends at midnight on the last day of the term. Items returned under warranty for replacement or refund must be received properly through our RMA guidelines no later than the last day of the selected warranty term.

RETURN ADMINISTRATION

All items are guaranteed to be working upon arrival to the customer. In the event the product appears to become defective within its respective warranty period, the customer should contact Projectorquest.com by registering at our Support Desk and submit a ticket or by calling customer support at (866) 952-3334 or by emailing support@projectorquest.com. IF YOU RETURN AN ITEM FOR REPLACEMENT, REFUND OR EXCHANGE WITHOUT FIRST NOTIFYING US AND GAINING AUTHORIZATION FROM CUSTOMER SUPPORT, YOU RISK VOID OF WARRANTY, REFUND, EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT.

Items reported as non-working must be returned to Projectorquest.com with a copy of the sales receipt included in the shipment and an approved RMA number. If you are returning the item under warranty, an electronic return shipping label will be provided to you. If you are returning it for any other reason, you must arrange your own shipping for delivery to:

The buyer is responsible for proper shipping of the product for replacement or refund. ITEMS RETURNED DAMAGED VOIDS ALL WARRANTY. Upon receipt, items will be inspected for serial number, total hours usage, and tampering or misuse. DISASSEMBLY OR OTHERWISE TAMPERING WITH THE PRODUCT VOIDS ALL WARRANTY. If the unit is physically damaged due to customer abuse or neglect or the unit otherwise does not meet the requirements of the Projectorquest.com exchange policy, appropriate replacement charges may apply. There are no restocking fees for all in-stock items received in good, working order where the original packaging is in good condition and free of any markings. If restocking fees are applicable for non-inventory items, special orders and drop shipped items, the re-stocking fee will be noted in the item’s listing. Typically, it is 3% of the total order amount.

Items that pass inspection will be exchanged or refunded. Product replacement or exchange is subject to availability.

Projectorquest.com exchange service ensures that you will be shipped a replacement product within three business days of receipt, given product availability and your proper adherence to return policies. If the product is out-of-stock, you will be notified promptly with an ETA. More immediate exchanges can be made with the purchase of a new lamp of the same model if it is in stock at the point of contact, where a credit will be applied to your account for the full amount of the returned item plus ground shipping, upon receipt of the exchanged lamp in proper condition as noted above.

Should you decide to return your purchased item for any reason other than those covered under the manufacturer's warranty, you must notify us within (30) days of purchase. Please note that we do not guarantee items outside warranty coverage or beyond the (30) day inspection period and any issues which may arise thereafter are not our responsibility. ALL RETURNS SHOULD BE PROPERLY SHIPPED TO US WITHIN ONE WEEK OF NOTIFICATION AND MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THE RECEIPT INCLUDED IN YOUR SHIPMENT AS WELL AS AN APPROVED RMA NUMBER. The timely return of your item is vital due to our limitations in warranty coverage terms provided by each of the manufacturers. Therefore, if your item is received by us after the last day of the warranty term, you void replacement or refund under warranty.

Returns will not be accepted without a copy of the receipt included in the shipment or an RMA Number issued by Projectorquest.com. If you need a copy of your receipt, please contact customer support. Projectorquest.com reserves the right to charge up to 25 percent restocking fee for products returned as defective that have no problem found. Projectorquest.com will credit the buyer the shipping costs (comparable to USPS Priority) for returning a product that has failed within the warranty period and meets the qualifications outlined here for exchange. Projectorquest.com reserves the right to test returned defective product. A refund will ONLY be given through a credit to the original credit card number or PayPal account used in the purchase or a check to the original issuer.

LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS

Subject to the Limitations, Exclusions and Disclaimers hereof, Global Tradequest, Inc. ("GTQ") warrants that the projection equipment and supplies sold on Projectorquest.com (hereinafter collectively or individually referred to as "Product" as appropriate) purchased from GTQ will conform to industry' specifications and be free from defects in material or workmanship for the respective Limited Warranty period provided below. GTQ does not warrant that the Product will meet the specific requirements of the end-user customer. If the Product while subject to this Limited Warranty, is defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, then GTQ will replace the Product.

All exchanged parts and Products replaced under this Limited Warranty will become property of GTQ. GTQ's sole obligation is to replace the Product found to be defective within the Limited Warranty period and to replace defective parts with new parts or, at the option of GTQ, serviceable used parts that are equivalent or superior to new parts performance. Limited Warranty periods are as follows: 1) Standard Product Limited Warranty Period: 90 or 180 days from the date of sale, 2) Extended Product Limited Warranty Period: 180 or 270 days or 700 hours of total usage, whichever comes first, from the date of sale.

WARRANTY LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION

THIS WARRANTY SETS FORTH GTQ's MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR ITS PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY EXTENDS ONLY TO PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM GTQ OR A GTQ AUTHORIZED RESELLER. GTQ shall have no further obligation under the foregoing Limited Warranty if the Product has been damaged due to abuse, improper ventilation, fire, water, disaster, mispackaging, shipping, lightning or other acts of nature, misuse, neglect, smoke exposure (cigarette or otherwise), accident, unusual physical or electrical stress and/or power surges, unauthorized modifications (including use of an unauthorized mount), tampering, alterations, service other than by GTQ or its authorized service providers, or failure caused other than from ordinary use or failure to properly use the Product in the application for which said Product was intended. In addition, failure of the end-user to follow maintenance procedures as outlined in the product's user guide, where a schedule is specified for regular cleaning of certain parts (based on usage and environment), and the end-user has failed to follow such schedule, the Product will not be covered under the Limited Warranty. Finally, GTQ shall have no further obligation if GTQ Product was subjected to operating conditions outside of the range specified in the user's guide or in this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty excludes Product cleaning, repair, or replacement of plastics and glass due to cosmetic damage and damage as a result of normal wear. Product repair outside of the terms of the Limited Warranty will be on a time and materials basis. LCD burn-in as a result of excessive display of static images, or any other reason, is not covered under the terms of this Limited Warranty.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

Any person exercising a claim under this Limited Warranty must establish to the satisfaction of GTQ both the date of purchase and that the Product was purchased new. The sales receipt or invoice, showing the date of purchase of the Product is the proof of the date of purchase.

DISCLAIMER OF UNSTATED WARRANTIES

THE WARRANTY PRINTED ABOVE IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF AND THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL NOT BE EXTENDED, ALTERED OR VARIED EXCEPT BY WRITTEN INSTRUMENT SIGNED BY GTQ. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST, SO SUCH LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD

The Limited Warranty periods hereof commence on the date the customer purchases the product from GTQ. These Limited Warranty provisions shall apply only to the end-user purchaser (first person or entity that purchased a new Product for personal or business use and not for the purpose of distribution or resale). SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY GRANT YOU CONSUMER RIGHTS WITH MINIMUM WARRANTY DURATION THAT DIFFER FROM THE DURATIONS PROVIDED HEREIN, AND GTQ WILL HONOR ALL SUCH CONSUMER RIGHTS UPON PROOF OF PURCHASE IN THAT JURISDICTION.

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

During the Limited Warranty period, to exercise this Limited Warranty, the purchaser must first contact Projectorquest.com by registering at our Support Desk and submitting a ticket or by calling customer support at (866) 952-3334 or by emailing support@projectorquest.com.

For Warranty service, the purchaser will be advised to return or deliver the defective Product freight using the appropriate return shipping label provided by GTQ. When returning Product to GTQ, a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number is required and must be clearly displayed on the outside of the shipping carton or a similar package affording an equal degree of protection. A copy of the sales receipt included in the shipment must also be returned with the item. GTQ will return the repaired/replaced Product freight prepaid to the purchaser.

Products returned for Warranty service must be accompanied by an authorized and completed RMA form that: (i) explains the problem; (ii) provides proof of date of purchase; (iii) provides the model and serial number of the Product. No repair or replacement of Product or part thereof shall extend the Limited Warranty period as to the entire Product. Warranty on the repair part and workmanship shall only be effective for the original Product Limited Warranty period specified at the time of purchase.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IT IS UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT GTQ's LIABILITY WHETHER IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, UNDER ANY WARRANTY, IN NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE RETURN OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY PURCHASER AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GTQ BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUES OR LOST SAVINGS. THE PRICE STATED FOR THE PRODUCTS IS A CONSIDERATION IN LIMITING GTQ' LIABILITY.

Limitation on Bringing Action - No action, regardless of form, arising out of the agreement to purchase the Product may be brought by purchaser more than one year after the cause of action has accrued.

Governing Law - Any action, regardless of form, arising out of the agreement to purchase the Product is governed by New York law.

Mandatory Arbitration - Any action, regardless of form, arising out of the agreement to purchase the Product is subject to mandatory arbitration. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, DEPENDING ON JURISDICTION.
